What is Parking Tag?

Parking Tag is a convenient way to pay for parking using your mobile phone. You don't need to use a parking meter. Pay with the app by registering for an account or pay as you go without an account. You can choose to receive an optional SMS reminder 10 minutes before your parking ticket expires, and if you get delayed, you can park again without returning to your car.

How do I pay?

Register for an account

• Register on the app by clicking “Sign up”
• Account Auto top-up
• Low balance threshold so you always have a balance to pay
• Add multiple mobile phone numbers and vehicle registrations
• Payment history
• Save card details

One-off parking

• Pay as you go
• Click “Park without account”
• Choose your zone and duration
• Pay with debit/credit card

How much does it cost?

Registered Account
Per vehicle, monthly maintenance fee (on-street parking)	€0.99 incl. VAT
Per vehicle, monthly maintenance fee (on-street and off-street parking)	€1.99 incl. VAT

Pay as you go

Zones

Check local signage for zone names. In Dublin City, parking zones are defined by colour. Outside Dublin City, parking zones are defined by letters.

Always check local signage to confirm your zone and ensure you park safely and legally.
